Playout System

I am looking for free software (preferably open source) that I can use to output full screen video on my second monitor but still have the control interface on the first one. I want to hook the computer up to a video mixer and use it as a playout system for a live event, but I don't want to be able to move the mouse onto the second screen. I had posted a similar topic earlier about this (when I was trying to write it myself) but am now looking for a pre-made solution.

If a low-tech solution will suffice, you can probably get away with using Powerpoint. Set it to run the presentation on the external screen and show the presenter view on your control system. Set the pointer to hidden and it should do pretty much what you want.
