Visual Studio 2005 Runs fine under vista you just need to be sure "When Prompted" You allow the application and thats really all I had to do. Altho I have yet to try SQL 2005 on my local client machine because its hosted on a local server. So that someone may need chime in on.

You will have the best luck if you do two things...
1. Get SP1 for VS and MSSQL (and the special Vista SP1 for VS).
2. Set the shortcut you use to launch VS to run as admistrator.

Running in the "VSDevelopper/Debugger" group no longer functions in vista?
