Wirlesss Connected with limited access for D-Link Router

Dear Network Guru's,

I am using D-Link router and comcast modem for my home  Dell Desktop.

I could able to successfully connect my HP Laptop with cable.
But when I configured Wirless network with SSID key,
the connection shows as : "Connected with No or Limited access".

I tried to make power off for router and connect again.
Wirless connects successfully.
But when the desktop power off and turned on again, the wireless connection shows limited!!

Can any body help in resolving this issue.

Most probably you setup WEP on your router and you're not typing the WEP Key on the computer you're trying to connect to the router.

You could try to remove all security first and once you can connect to the router you add it.

Ensure your wireless adapter's configuration matches the wireless configuration on router. Also ensure your wireless adapter driver status is working well.

If your computer OS is XP, you believed you have correct configuration and you have tried all solutions but still not working, then most probably it's due to winsock problem. You can try to use WinSockFix to fix the problem.  Hope helps..
