Who know which xaml viewer or editor is popular now, and where can download it?
Thanks,
Eric

I guess the one of Chris Anderson is very popular. It's called AvPad. -
There is a xamlviewer that is part of the SDK. If you install Avalon, it is located in Program Files\Microsoft SDKs\WinFX\bin\xamlpad.exe
ChrisAn wrote XAMLPad and then has provided an updated build on his blog called AvPad, with enhanced features:
- Ships with a complete custom style for all Avalon controls
- New "radial" menus animate in from the corner (ok, this is kinda a hacked in feature <G>)
- Better background parsing (waits to parse based upon the duration of time it takes to parse)
- Child window manager implementation
- Visual tree viewer
So, his new one is probably the recommended choice. http://blog.simplegeek.com is the place to go.

Thanks for your information, this tool is really cool. And it is a viewer just can display xaml. Is there a editor can generate xaml? like VS IDE, drag a control drop on a form, then xaml generated.
Thanks in advance. -
What about a speech enabled editor so I can say: "I want a big blue button on the center of the form" ?
Nah, an visual editor will probably be featured in the next Visual Studio (after 2005). Xaml is not even in beta right now. -

"Nudge the big blue button to the right."
"More."
"More."
"More."
"No, back a little..."

Here is the info on XAML Viewer [ http://weblogs.asp.net/gmilano/archive/2004/11/28/271383.aspx ]
I have not tried any of them, but this one looks cool... -

Now that would be cool, but what would happen if I told it to take over the world? -
Hopefully no-one programs in a TakeOverTheWorld() subroutine to the speech recognition agent... if they did, we'd probably find out about it during testing

I recall, back in the early- to mid-90's, having a concern about the security aspects of speaker independent voice recognition. It had something to do with the thought of a trouble-maker running through the cube-farm shouting
"File! Close! No!"
"File! Close! No!"
"File! Close! No!..."

This is what happens when you abuse an "intelligent" photocopier.

Indeed, this one is very cool viewer, I used it before. But it can only use in the previous version avalon, can't use avalon in March ;-( And it has no source code.
