It would be nice to drag stuff onto any area of the desktop (without moving windows around, using the keyboard, or having a window in the taskbar just to handle that), so I'm wondering if there's a way to run 'Show Desktop.scf' (or minimize all windows), whenever an object is dragged over a particular icon in Quick Launch; maybe it requires a custom shell-extension (I'm not sure)...

Just Create a shortcut to the desktop in a quick launch tool bar or create a new toolbar that points to the desktop.

Just drag the cursor over an empty area of the taskbar wait a second and all windows will minimize.

An empty area... aha, it works! Thanks.
