Just been watching some clips - esp. new video with Chirs Jones - about Longhorn - sorry, Windows Vista product team.
I'm a bit confused about the exact details for Avalon & Indigo - and/or WinFx ?!?
I understand that Avalon is the presentation/graphics layer - and Indigo is the comm's/network library.
What exactly is WinFx ? How is it related to Indigo/Avalon ?!? Or is it "another name" - like Longhorn is now "Windows Vista" ??
I've installed the Beta1 of
Avalon & Indigo - run the install from the ISO - and couldn't find what it had installed !!
Are there any examples / samples ?? I guess it just copies lots more class libraries - but couldn't find them.
Should I uninstall this - BEFORE the Beta of WinFX ??

Yea I've installed the beta of Avalon and Indigo on my XP machine as well but haven't found any use for it. Is there anyway I can start playing around with Avalon?
