		<description><![CDATA[<p>I got into VS 2010 Premium this morning, and was notified of the fact that there was a new version of the NuGet installer add-in.&nbsp; So I went to install it.&nbsp; However, I got an error message.&nbsp; Here's the error message:</p><p>&nbsp;</p><pre>12/13/2011 9:12:02 AM - Verifying matching extension signatures before updating...Installed Extension Path: C:\Program Files\Microsoft Visual Studio 10.0\Common7\IDE\Extensions\Microsoft Corporation\NuGet Package Manager\1.5.20902.9026\Update Extension Path: c:\users\rodf\appdata\local\temp\tmp4e74.tmp12/13/2011 9:12:02 AM - VSIXInstaller.SignatureMismatchException: The signature on the update version of 'NuGet Package Manager' does not match the signature on the installed version. 		<description><![CDATA[<p>It's a <a href="http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2581019" target="_blank">known problem</a>... you have to uninstall the NuGet package and then install the newer package for it to work.</p>]]></description>

		<title>Tech Off - Got an error installing the update to NuGet</title>
		<description><![CDATA[<p>Simply uninstalling with &quot;Add Remove Programs&quot; may not clear the problem up - it didn't for me. Try the advice for &quot;Cannot uninstall NuGet for Windows Phone Tools&quot; in the known issues document, which basically says:</p><p>Windows Phone Tools does not have support for the Visual Studio Extension Manager. In order to&nbsp; uninstall NuGet, run the following command.</p><p>vsixinstaller.exe /uninstall:NuPackToolsVsix.Microsoft.67e54e40-0ae3-42c5-a949-fddf5739e7a5</p><p>This worked even though the phone version had reported as being installed successfully, and the Visual Studio had been the one with the error.</p><p>&nbsp;David</p>]]></description>
