How do I screenshot the surface of a media player

ha, it seems not easy.

This period of time, I try to make a tool in MFC to capture other's surface,but I failed. I can capture the desktop succesful, but the media player failed. After I screenshot a media player surface and try to get it's picture, I found the picutre was full of black.I do crazy now.

I found it was use the directX technology and show the image in overlay.

Do anybody solve it in MFC? help!!
