I was wondering if Clint Ruktas would be interested in making a radar. I was reading a advanced Ham radio book and one of the chapters was on radio location. It was really interesting and I think it would make a good project for coding for fun. Now I was thinking about an actual antenna and everything and hacking a digital ham radio, but that would be really complicated. So I though about just using maybe four lego NXT ultrasonic sensors and then using C++ it would display the radar screen on the computer. Or maybe since the Kinect SDK is out, you could use three Kinects and put the same program on each computer, and the Kinects would send the info over the internet to a fourth computer that would put all of the information together. Just a suggestion.
