Coffeehouse - Windows 8 hardware - so much choice!!!

It seems that I am one of the few that is getting excited about the new hardware, I really cannot decide what to get! The Dell and Surface systems look very good!

Im 99% decided on getting a Win RT device as I think that the x86 hardware will be more expensive and have worse battery life and also be heavier and hotter. Not sure how true this assumption is. However the 1% thinks it would be good to run visual studio on a tablet so a hard choice!

Can I use a 64gb micro sd to bump up my storage capacity as i have music, movies and books that I like to carry with me? Do all apps access the sd card as part of the file system?

Coffeehouse - Spec me a Windows 8 Tablet

Hi, thanks for all the replies. I have a history of Windows devices spanning CE 2.0 devices, various windows phones and a Samsung q1 - so Im well at home here.

I was looking at the Series 7 but I think circa 1000 is a lot of money when we are expecting some exciting new hardware in the next 12 months.

My plan B was to spend a few hundred on something like a Archos 9 (or a RM Slate 100 or even the Inspiron Duo N550) just to get a feel for the touch OS and get a little bit of inspiration.

Does anyone have anything good/bad to say about these devices?
