Short of calling it &quot;PlayStation&nbsp;2&quot;, I fail to see how they could have sucked so hard at naming this thing.</p><p></p></div></blockquote><p></p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Absolutely <em>nobody</em> will be genuinely confused by any of this.</p>]]></description>

		<description><![CDATA[<p>That tent looks super-ominous. It's probably the fact that it's a gigantic black pyramid.</p><p>Will this be streamed on C9?</p><p>So hey, bets. Illumiroom, at launch or as a mid-lifetime boost (sort of like Kinect)? I think the technology looked advanced enough to warrant a launch in november, but it'll probably drive up the cost of the console when it already comes bundled with Kinect. Then again, the rumored $499 price is pretty steep so who knows what's included. They could make it a separate accesory, but eh.</p><p>Also: awkward fake families reading from autocue, yes or no? Ha, of course there will be.</p><p>Other surprises? Personally I'm hoping for a way more advanced version of Smartglass, where the 360 version was sort of a test and they're now coming out with the real thing.</p>]]></description>

Playing Angry Birds for the Nth time in a row gets boring. People look for escape all the time, and then the escape becomes tedium quickly but they get addicted to the tedium.</p><p>All I'm saying is people need to slow down a bit.</p><p>The bad thing to me about driving in traffic isn't that I'm driving, but I'm stuck and my options to do things are limited. If my car could drive itself, I'd have a little more flexibility in the case I needed to stop and do something. So basically you can jump in the car, have it drive you to work and spend the 50 minutes or so that takes doing something productive or fun.</div></blockquote><p></p><p>A lot of places already have that. AAAAHHHHH!!!!!!</p><p>so they have like say a hundred calls that return chunks of json or ask for some but some times things in the json are not there and other times they are, and the name at the top can be the same.</p><p>and all of the examples are snippets of curl commands.</p><p>I found my self wondering if they ever had any idea of doing something a bit like a WSDL document to allow a client to build a proxy class to call the thing ?</p><p>some guy made a .Net wrapper with all the stuff but it looks like he had to spend a lot of time doing something one off that if they had a WSDL file most of the code could be generated like we do with ASMX or WCF services.</p><p>I have only had to deal with a couple of cases but to me it seems like REST / json is a step backwards to the dark ages ....</p><p></p></div></blockquote><p></p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>This. I had to deal with a web api for the first time in years again last week, and I figured &quot;Okay, I'll just add a web reference and generate a proxy and we're done. And then I realised it was rest and there was no definition file, and I had basically gone back in time ten years.</p><p>I like the new ASP.NET Web API stuff, but it only spits out REST so the time I gain with it, I immediately lose again building stuff that consumes it.</p>]]></description>
