I don't think the EU needs any moneys from a US company especially a pitifull $2.5 million, you guys need to get off that track of thinking. We have something like 5 of the G8 in our ranks and a combined spending power up with the US - I dunno if we have the massive trade defecit though.

They are not saying "give us secrets lawl!" the issue is "how do I get my product to work with Windows" MS are 'alledgedly' using its advantage of having access to the OS code to make products that the competition cant.

Shutting people out of competing is an abuse of a monopoly.

I am having a hard time understanding some of the Islamaphobia coming out some of your mouths. You have this fascination that all Muslims in the world are waiting for some secret order to rise up against us and go Jihad on our butts, which if some of you where not serious about would be laughable.

Um, the Crusades have ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to do with a proper exegesis of the Bible. Just because a bunch of retarded extremists do something doesn't mean that these actions stem from a proper reading of "their" religious material.

Had to pick this out, sounds familiar does it not? There are verses in the Koran about love and tolerance aswell. There are violent sections in both texts(hay you still killing people who work on sabbath?) the point is, the violent parts are not relevant to either religions any more; yes there are "retarded extremists" that will bend what anything to get people to play their sick twisted games.

So --- this does not mean every Muslim is suddenly going to take up arms against us in a giant Jihad. Just chillax and get to know some people of Muslim faith(they wont bite, maybe behead ), I think conservative christians have alot more in common than they think with conservative Muslims.

Back on the OT:

It's a touchy situation, but I cannot see any reason to knock out a powerplant? Why? Knocking out bridges I can understand, but so many people and services rely on the power plant. It's like if there was a murderer hiding out in my town and they turn off the water supply to the whole town.

irascian I disagree with you about doing good buisness, this movie cost over $220mil at a conservative estimate(some put it at $270 down to a bunch of reshoots they had todo) that means that it needs to earn back over $600mil to make a decent profit in hollywood terms.

I think WB have an expensive flop on their hands just like KingKong was just about breaking even.

While I agree it is sad and unfortunate, you need to weigh the 2. These types of decisions are never easy, but obviously letting a large quantity of the worlds oil burn is a very bad idea that would have huge economic implication globally. Sorry, not a partisan and not ignorant. I have read all the UN Reports, the 9/11 comission report, the butler report and myriad senate intelligence reports.

I don't see where I am advocating complacency? You are saying that just because there are no attacks on American soil the war is a success, when I was saying there was only 1 major attack in a while, so that's not really a benchmark to take - and then what happens there is another attack? Does that mean the war is a failure?

Where am I advocating "sticking my head in the sand?" I do not see it, just because I think the invasion is a bad idea and it solves nothing and creates more problems than it creates. That does not mean I do not support action on terrorism - infact I greatly support action on terrorism, just because it does not involve wasting billions of £/$ and sending peoples sons and daughters to die for no reason while creating more terrorists in the time.
