If it were best in every other aspect, I would tolerate Java. But I agree that the UI is ugly (I like one thing though - that it allows you to view the change log as it was available with the old Live Mesh Beta - it was an amazing feature for troubleshooting and for my confidence in the product).

BTW Amazon just launched Glacier storage for data backup which costs just $1 per 100GB per month.
Coffeehouse - Live Mesh replacement

Hi, I'm looking for a Live Mesh replacement and it's sad that it cannot be SkyDrive - I plan to store all my photos in the cloud and cannot afford downloading tens of gigabytes to every device I own - some of them are laptops with pretty limited disk space. For the very same reason DropBox is out of question too.

So I'm looking for software that would be as close in features to current Mesh as possible. Cubby (https://www.cubby.com/) looks interesting - can sync arbitrary folder, has p2p sync etc.. But it's invite only, unproven and pricing is not known yet.

Then there are things like SugarSync and probably a dozen of others - actually too many to compare them all. So can anyone of you recommend a Mesh replacement that would be similarly simple yet powerful? Thanks.

Tech Off - minor annoyance with text anti-aliasing (vista vs .net)
