I bet he gave some awesome insight in to the topics discussed on the show. He's such a smart little guy.

Here is a variation of Tom Servo's variation. I used Paint.NET to edit it.

I've seen some weird things happen over the years. I don't know if these will help but I hope it givces you a better idea.
1) Some motherboards that use PC-100 or PC-133 SDRAM don't support RAM sticks with more than 8 chips on them. There is no way for the motherboard to detect the number of chips, so it wont give you an error.
2) Some cheaper PC-133 SDRAM can't run at 100Mhz
3) SDRAM does not need to be installed in parity, so that isn't your problem.
Are you sure the 256MB stick is good?? Try booting the system up with just that Ram stick installed, and see if it detects the whole thing.
In a previous post Someone said "One Ram stick may be running at 133 and the other at 100" This is not possible, If one stick is PC-133 and one is PC-100 then the system will run all the Ram at the slower speed since the slower Ram can't run at the higher speed.
I hope some of this helps. -
I thought of one question. What does the richest man in the world do for fun?? or in his spare time??

I totally agree. Channel 9 helps MS make their products better, by getting feedback from us. It also give us some insight as to why they make the decisions that they do.
An interview with Bill Gates would be interesting. I just wonder, what would he talk about? What would we ask him?
