I totally get the argument. I can just see this getting out of control and Glass getting canned, which would be such a shame seeing as the problem already exists with or without the Technology... downside being there are so many positives and potential benefits to it, it's a big leap in the right direction in my opinion, which I suspect the tabloids / govt / people who don't value tech will play down because someone "could" and probably will take a picture sometime. There needs to be some form of sensible and socially acceptable balance.

All these issue have existed long before and will way after, even if Glass never happened.

There's more camera's than people in the UK these days and if / when someone wants to abuse peoples privacy, it will happen. It's the exception, not the rule.

I find I work well under a certain amount of pressure.

It's when this pressure becomes too great (not having enough time to actually write the program, never mind thinking about it) when I start to crack. Sometimes this leads to MMM by getting more resource my way (when it's too late) although not always. Sometimes you just have to march on and get your scar.

It's retrospect where the process needs to be investigated and amended. Agreeing sensible amounts of work doesn't always happen for me.

There are so many variables and circumstances that not all PM's can forsee.. But again in my case, when it hits the fan, quality is out and JFDI is in.

But what isn't fun, is making sacrifices all over xmas to save up for one, to then have it knocked back to a completely unknown date and price all the while more and more negative news coming.. I can't wait for just how shocking the battery life is going to be. Because something smells rotten in Denmark to me.. 

I for one was hoping to make this my hobby dev replacement.. it's no trouble popping a full size kb, mouse and monitor, it has all that covered.. but you get the benefit of being able to take it with you for use in other areas. But looks like I got that wrong also, seems I got it all wrong. Ha. I'll entertain myself with a RaspberryPI for the summer instead whilst I watch with anticipation how this fiasco unfolds. 

Fed up of waiting for trickles of information and each time there is a little news, It's bad. No dates, no info, now only 80g usable, 17w processors etc.. What's next at release? 3 hour life? an additional $200? 

#fail thanks, but no thanks..  Surface really does feel like MS's client swan song. And you do nothing but get the back up of the people you are expecting to create the apps for it... which I also believe are now dwindling. Combine that with the post xmas rush, everyone and I mean everyone around my area were swarming round the tablet stands. Not interested in PC's or camera's anymore. The people want tablets... and you can't see ms anywhere, except Jon Lewis...

I really REALLY want a pro... but as the days tick by I convince myself less.. already starting to see that people aren't as interested in this version as to what could be "next"... I know it's impossible to chase the tech dragon but, it ain't even shipped yet!

I already know that anything you said Barry, is your opinion. Just as every other post I read on every other forum or social site. But you are in a special position which you worked hard for.. like others. Which I now find harder due to changes I understand nothing, but am curious about. It's curiosity that drove many of us here.  

You were hardly constructive towards my topic, but I am sorry I have annoyed you. In my defence, I think more has been assumed of me here more than anything else.. but if I had achieved what you have, after all that hard work, I would have been more of an ambassador at least. There are things that all of us would like to know more about, there is no shame in asking.
