Just updated the post above: To be clear, TechEd lives on. This event will be a part of and an enhancement of TechEd, co locating with that event to ensure the world of IT gets optimal access to all of the best resources in one place.
@Lvs58: There are so many great choices of sessions to attend at TechEd and not enough days to attend them all, which is why the session recordings are made available to view on-demand. Recordings are made available 24-48 hours after the session. Visit http://northamerica.msteched.com/catalog and watch the sessions you weren’t able to attend.
@simpsonjr: Some late breaking updates were not able to be incorporated into the labs in time for techEd. But, there are many System Center labs available in the Hand-on Lab area and if you’re interested in the System Center Instructor-led Labs, there has been room to seat just about everyone that wants to attend.
@Indycamper: The interest in the ILLs has been very high so the seating capacity was expanded. We’re finding that there have been enough seats available to seat just about everyone that wants to attend. Come by 10-15 minutes before they start to improve your chances of securing a seat.
@Harjit: I second that comment. Not sure what was my favorite scene, but I don know I can't wait to go to Houston in May. The city, the hospitality, the venues are amazing! And there's 2 more Houston shows coming soon!
@nbobuh: We currently do not have an official plan for other countries, but we will email you if one comes up.
Attendees from the following countries will be able to take advantage of the Surface discount offer later this year. Microsoft will contact these attendees to let them know when the offer is live for their market.

Have questions about the Surface offer? Stop by Hall 8 starting Tuesday, 25 June and talk to a sales associate.
@Ladewig: We appreciate your contributions on the forums, twitter and Facebook too. Sharing your first hand experience helped many newbies and alumni Scott!
