another try... Now I am downloading the Win2008 from the link you mentioned in your blog post.

but what is the diff between these two VHDs?

I am really struggling on setting up Windows 2008 Server VHD.

 

the steps I followed

 

1. Downloaded - Windows Server 2008 R2 RC Enterprise Evaluation (Full Edition)

2. Exctracted VHD file.

3. Configured VHD with Microsoft Virual PC 2007

4. Started Win 2008

 

Issue: whist starting win 2008 server, it is showing "Windows is loading files..." with progress bar. Progress bar runs two times and vpc gets restarted. again

  It is going to infine loop.

 

Note: Base machines I have tested are XP (SP3) and Vista.

 

could you please reply me the solution how can I up VHD file.
