Parallel Computing
Jan 04, 2010 at 12:39 PMPlease consider the following.
At least one of the parallel computing examples/exercises should have been more simple and concise for laymen. An example of parallel computing on a small project (without classes) might make you ask, "Why would someone build parallel for that?," and the answer may be, to teach, set an example, or an exercise. Being so small that it might exploit the parallel tech so it stands out, is easily noticed and understood.
Please don't interpret one thing as another. The exercises gave me lots of insight, but I am confused and not sure how I would begin to use parallel techs, even for fun : (
I searched my local barnes & nobels for something official (you know, a book) but found nothing. So far, I havent found anyplace with as much info or resources on parallel techs as MSDN. Thank you : )
