Another point - Ping never mentioned, HOW to get referred, here is the easiest way - go to: https://mvp.support.microsoft.com/communities/mvp.aspx - and ask one of the current MVPs in your category of interest to nominate you, this carries a lot of weight if you get reffered by a current MVP, also a local Developer Evangelist can support and mentor you.

 

Only draw back of MVP Program is that you HAVE to become a leader/influential in a specific category. One, not two or three.

Someone please normalize the sound for the next show; all special segments are way down on dB levels. Pretty please?

I was told I was not going mostly because: MVP Summit is March 1-5th and MIX09 is March 18-20th, someone should have spread these out better!!!

I went to MIX08 and it was great! Really disappointed I had to pick between MVP Summit and MIX09.

NOW I have motivation to finally do it to my car, but I am estimating planning, design and deploy to last me into mid 2005.

Any thoughts on intergrating a PocketPC into the car?

Although one would want to use the VGA PPC's and probably needs to brush up on WinCE development to get a bigger secondary touch screen working right.

Or even go to a WinCE device and hack open the device to make the screen detachable and go from there...
