Ping 38: Facebook SDK, MSN Video, Bing, Bill Gates, IE8
Nov 19, 2009 at 12:48 AMIf you want to know more about Microsof MVP program and how to become one, read my long post on How-To-MVP:
http://geekswithblogs.net/campuskoder/archive/2008/01/08/118376.aspx
This should explain what it takes.
Another point - Ping never mentioned, HOW to get referred, here is the easiest way - go to: https://mvp.support.microsoft.com/communities/mvp.aspx - and ask one of the current MVPs in your category of interest to nominate you, this carries a lot of weight if you get reffered by a current MVP, also a local Developer Evangelist can support and mentor you.
Only draw back of MVP Program is that you HAVE to become a leader/influential in a specific category. One, not two or three.

J.P. Stewart - A new hobby: putting Windows XP in your car
Nov 03, 2004 at 11:45 AMAny thoughts on intergrating a PocketPC into the car?
Although one would want to use the VGA PPC's and probably needs to brush up on WinCE development to get a bigger secondary touch screen working right.
Or even go to a WinCE device and hack open the device to make the screen detachable and go from there...
