  Just hope the next big conference they do they have a "real" party. PDC 2005 Microsoft rented all of Universal Studios. Now it seems like every conference they just have a big club or something. Yes, there's a bit more mingling, but then you can't chug a bunch of beer and go on the Mummy three times

  Neat games, but that Interior Design app looks hideous. How hard is it to follow WP7 design guidelines. You can make gorgeous apps if you do.

  Problem is you never know when they'll bring it out, or if you'll even be able to get one.

  THIS is what Apple gets right. When they put out a new phone they already have 10 million stitting there in stock. When Nokia puts out the nicest WP7 we've seen, it's Euro only. And North America might see it in 6 months. By that time you won' care anymore. I wanted that Dell Venue Pro when it first came out. A year later I still don't have access to one. Microsoft needs to boot the phone makers in the *, as this is going to be the killer. If you don't have the phone to give out to everyone, don't release it.

  @Murugan15:True. But as they're not setting specs to be a sort of "lowest common denominator"...they also can't have crazy powerful specs that drain battery life, and that not all OEMs might be able to accomplish.

  Make a note, that if one Mango phone has a front-facing phone they all need to. Otherwise you'll end up with different phones with different features which is what Microsoft is getting away from.
