A few posts before or after the featured video on Windows 7/Xbox features(the one at the guys house), there was a long post on streaming techniques and stuff for the Xbox, post was like 10 pages long and quite in depth. Showed Netflix, and a half dozen other ones. Wondering where it went.

Windows 7...I'm one user here at home...I show as admin. Yet I have to do tons of stuff that gives me UAC prompts for admin access, even renaming files in my My Pictures folder. Am I missing something, or should I just turn off UAC on Windows 7 like I did on Vista?

Anyone heard of any new Experience or Education packs coming to Win7? The ones they have now don't install. And a lot of the Experience pack stuff is now in Windows 7.

I think this is a doosey screw-up and I'd like the reasoning behind it. Programs like WMP are supposed to get better with age, not take huge steps back like this one...

Anyone have Windows 7 on their slate? I have the Motion LE1600 slate and will be getting Win7 Home Prem the second it comes out for it. Don't think there have been any C9 videos on the subject yet.

Remove the AJAX from the site....it doesn't work.

Just lost a post I posted...went into the ether. And as I was writing this post for the first time I accidentelly clicked Cancel. With AJAX, no history...can't go back. Typing lost.

Pretty neat game, I like it. I think the EA Nation network is down for a lot of people though, so no online play.

Yould be nice I think though if Need for Speed got back to it's roots. Racing through cities in sports cars through heavy traffic, with the cops on your tail. =)

I know USB has faster speeds, but getting an external drive that had both USB and Firewire I chose to try out the Firewire. The thing I like is that the connector is very solid, and it visually only goes in one way. It seems that with USB most of the time you have it the wrong way, then you flip it, nope had it in the right way the first time. USB, along with Plug-N-Play might be awesome things...but the connector is just a horrible design in engineering. Firewire they put some thought into it.

Has anyone done an upgrade of Expression 3 Suite over their Expression 2? I'm just wondering if it's best to just do a full uninstall of 2 before putting 3 on...rebooting inbetween of course...

Hopefully others in C9 have read this series from Edgar Rice Burroughs. But I can't tell if this is going to be animated or not? Seems they're doing the first 3 books into a trilogy...but I just can't picture an aniated trilogy of this nature...especially the Barsoom series is just as epis as Lord of the Rings, would make a Hell of a live-action movie.

Just can't picture Willem Defoe as Tars Tharkas....since his species is 15 feet tall, green, with 4 arms and 2 legs...and have no human qualities in the face area whatsoever. Unless he's providing a voice, which would make more sense.

p.s. If you start surfing through Wikipedia, watch out for the pages that explain the individual books, since they pretty much give away the whole plotline. And the first 3 books are so action-packed it would just wreck them :)

With Eagle around posting his useless posts I'm trying to click this link more, but it doesn't seem to work. Before when you clicked it it turned from the "Mark as Spam" hyperlink into grey text "Marked as spam"..or something like that. Now it doesn't.

Can do fun stuff when you're evil in Sims 3. Like troll on forums(then come back later to check for response), and you can hack, to steal $. =)

Pretty neat game, and boyz seem to like it too. Nice finally being able to leave your house and go places, whether it be across the street, or into town to the art gallery or book store or park :)

Doubt I'm going to be paying $$$ for those SimPoints though. Hopefully we'll be able to download user-made stuff for free somewhere.

Using VS2008 I want to search xaml files for instances of:
center
....that does NOT start with a ", like:
"center"

I simply want to search for center that is not preceeded by a double quote...and I don't think regex does this.

I bring my Tablet PC(currently Vista Home Prem) to work, and I have a drive mapped to a work drive. I have it as my D: drive on my Tablet mapped to something like //myworkcomputer/share. Problem is when I come to work, I need to open up the D: drive on my Tablet, and put in my password for my work credentials every time. Is there a way to write a .vbs or something that always runs when my tablet boots up that searches for the map, if found, login? So I can automatically use that map. Noting that my Tablet is my home one, and has nothing to do with work, which is why I don't have any work credentials on my Tablet.
