And be sure to check out Rowi (which already uses Aviary on Windows Phone and will be using it in Windows 8 as soon as we pass certification). ![]()

Hey all who don't think Task wrapped events is the best way to do it, how about you do the same example but with IObservable so we can compare real code?

Thanks, Charles!

@Efficiency:No, spaces are still the default. If you care, you can of course, change it to tabs. If you REALLY care, you could always write a module to remove ALL whitespace from your markup as well on the way out.

For those looking for Phil, yah, he left for Github. For those looking for Phil's replacement, it's me (as of less than a week ago).

@Chris Ledet: Mary-Jo Foley says yes, but not fully.
"Desktop (non-Metro-style) apps will be able to be promoted in the Windows Store if they meet Microsoft's Desktop App certification requirements, and will be discoverable via the Windows 8 store. Windows 8 Desktop Apps will be neither licenesable nor downloadable (i.e., able to take advantage of the Windows 8 "fulfillment service") from the Store. Instead, Microsoft will only provide a link to the Windows Store for Desktop Apps on Windows 8 on x86/x64 and ARM."

@Shawna Mann: It depends the country. In the US, people can buy apps with their phone carrier account instead of a credit card. Agreed it will be nice to have other options though. Hopefully they'll open it up a bit after this app store succeeds.

@efjay:Just tried clicking on the play button on the home page of C9 from my Samsung Focus and it started playing the video. I assume it's just playing the MP4.
