@ponsaelius: The NSA only gets access to specific information that they have a legal order to obtain. Google, Facebook, Apple etc. all do the same as Microsoft, it seems ridiculous to single out one company for your complaint when they have all done it or does that not sit well with your foil hat?
Who doesn't love LEGO (though there isn't an S on the end, sounds very wrong when you say LEGOS)
I'm not personally worried about the spying issue with Kinect, I know that is isn't recording everything I do at home and sending it anywhere.
Personally the DRM "issues" with the X1 didn't bother me and I was looking forward to the other features it brought in like the family library and re-selling/gifting of digital games but sadly that has been dropped. Hopefully it will come back later.
Nice to have a new face on the show welcome Mark.
Excellent to see Paul back in the studio, enjoy your holiday/trip.
The Xbox One looks great to me, I can see where people would worry about the DRM but that isn't a problem for me and the additional features it brings like sharing with family is fantastic. Sadly however the internet complainers have killed this as MS have now backtracked to keep those grumblers happy. Thanks internet! NOT.
Windows 8.1 looks like it will deliver a good selection of improvements driven by customer feedback and that is great, looking forward to getting it installed after BUILD.
Programming for Kinect 2.0 looks like it would provide a better range of experiences.
I don't think I would use the Leap Motion on a Pc despite it looking cool as I can get too animate at times on the Pc and I don't want it randomly selection/moving/deleting stuff :/
Really looking forward to the Xbox One and I hope the NFL on Xbox comes to the UK!! But I fear it will not due to stupid exclusive deals here boo
No tattoo's for me, that just ain't how I roll.
I can understand why MS introduced the points system as it gave a universal currency for buying items, a game in the US is the same cost as the UK, Australia, Japan etc
The bulk purchasing of points in blocks reduced the charges per transaction, so there are not 10 2% charges when you by 10 $0.99 games. It is one charge to get X amount of points that allow you to buy 10 games.
As a consumer however I can see the need for a real value amount instead of a strange translated value.
Star Trek WOOOT!

Erm Paul, that isn't quite what I said at all about backward compatibility :/
I love my Windows Phone etc but I try and avoid the arguments about which is better etc, no one will ever win those. It is all about personal preference and there is no right answer.
