Anyone has one of their My Passport drives? "password protection and hardware encryption" is the only thing I saw they are advertising, do they do encryption on fly, how fast and safe is it?

What do you guys think about it, touch-screen and screen capabilities related? I don't care about performance or other factors as it will be used mainly for writing, notes and email.

I'll do my research a bit later, just asking if anyone has it or what do you think. Dell also has some models but I prefer ThinkPad's design more. If anyone has it how does it plays with 7? Especially the multi touch support.

P.S. I'm also very open to other recommendations

Do you think an application's UX should be modeled depending on the target machine configuration and capabilities? For example should an application's UI be different (massively, but should be simple enough) and optimized if the application will be run [mainly] on a machine with [multi]touch-screen capabilities? If so, for machines with no touch capabilities should the application provide a different UI?

Do anyone remembers if one Vista license (retail) can be used on n > 1 computers? I remember about 1 key per 5 computers or so? Vista's EULA seems wrong :)

I was thinking... Wouldn't be cool to abstract a physical HDD in a hybrid device's firmware consisting only of hi-speed RAM as the storage medium, and after you install it on the "RAM" just dump the whole thing on the HDD? That would be cool to see, installing windows in 3 minutes :)

At work I hardly use my "physical" phone, which acts as a small computer for my UC account. At home, I use my cell phone only occasionally, to call a taxi or have a fixed all-time available connection node, which anyone hardly use :) Are phones becoming obsolete?

Now now, how you may know or not... I have a Nikon D40X, it worked pretty well until a month ago when dead pixels appeared on the sensor, since they were pretty visible on every photo, with default exposure, I've sent it to the service. They said it will take a month or so, now after a month they returned back my camera and yes they fixed the sensor thing, but this time they broke the up-down-left-right buttons that now are completely useless, I don't understand how this may be, I thought Nikon is a serious company... now what should I do?
