So I got a Dell advertisement in my inbox today and something just didnt look right to me. Can anyone else spot the three things that are wrong with this pic from the Dell advertisement?

Granted the average joe wont see anything wrong with this image, but we're geeks, this is what we do.

Question for folks with IE7 [Question for folks with IE7]

Here's a question for anyone else running IE7 (or any IE team members).

Do you ever notice that randomly Ctrl+Shift+I seems to stop functioning? I cant find a common cause on either of my Vista machines. I've tried x86 and x64 versions of IE7 as well as IE7 with No Add-Ons. Oddly Ctrl+I seems to function without a problem but Ctrl+Shift+I will just randomly not work. Sometimes a reboot fixes it and sometimes it'll not work for days and just start functioning again out of the blue.

Has anyone else had this issue or know a fix?

(and before someone asks, no, its not the keyboard)

Maybe this happened a few days ago and I just noticed right now, but it appears the Windows Live folks have updated Windows Live Search on Live.com... Now instead of the awesome AJAX site that once graced Live.com, there's just a MSN-Search-like site.

Anyone know if they're planning on bringing the old site back?

Noob C# Question [Noob C# Question]

Ok, so I recently decided to give up VB.net and move onto a modern language, C#, I've found the transition pretty easy except for the fact that I cant seem to figure out how to do one thing in in particular that made my life alot easier while working in VB.net which was calling subs that exist outside the current form.

Ex in VB:
Form 1
Public Sub Abc123()
   'Do something
End Sub

Form 2
Public Sub SomethingElse()
   'Do something else
   Abc123()
   'Do something else again
End Sub

Basicly how do I execute/call 'Abc123' that exists on Form 1 from inside of Form 2? I've already figured out that if Abc123 exists on Form 2 two already the syntax is the same as VB.net but I cant for the life of me figure out how to get it to work if it exists on Form 1 and both Google and Windows Live Search arent of any help.

I hate asking the noob questions but I figured with all the professional programmers here on C9 someone would know the answer on how to get this to work in C#.

Is anyone else who goes to Microsoft.com noticing that the nav menu on the left is missing and there is just a large white space? Also the copyrights at the bottom seem to be gone. Site update possibly?

Edit: Nevermind, a few minutes later and all was well.

Anyone else getting a login prompt when they had to Microsoft.com from 'c.msn.com'? I've verified it's there in IE7 and FF1.5, I assume someone just set some file permission wrong, but still midly amusing.
