  • Is it possible to pin folders / libraries to the taskbar (7rc)

If you would be able to answer the question without insulting anyone, without using words like "noob", and without using faulty reasoning then I, and many others on this forum, would be more than willing to listen to your arguments and respond to them seriously.

I'm waiting for results not forum feedback Sven. And Win7 is a pretty poor result to me, that is what I'm saying.

And I have given reasons as to why the taskbar is poor here on c9 already. I'd be more helpful in suggestions and feedback but its really best given to those who can actually do the job properly, cleary that is not Microsoft.

Because he's an àss that likes to complain about everything.

just because I'm right and you're noob TommyCarlier!

"Why do you think the current taskbar is poor?"

I would answer but tbh there are too many */holes about on this forum.

  • Windows 7: Media Play Bug: Repro?

I hear you're ignoring me KevinB... and now you want to hear what I would recommend- lol, the cheek.

  • Windows 7: Media Play Bug: Repro?

hey if you want to use barely updated buggy noob rubbish that's fine, i'm sure it will continue to be that way anyway Smiley

ok ... would be nice feature in the next version of the taskbar Smiley

its weak crap development on the win7 taskbar anyway....You can find extensions for the taskbar that give better improvements and workflow enhancements than Microsoft's poor efforts.

here is an idea... stop using a WMP its rubbish shhit! Smiley

  • Any hope for Freelancer 2?

Freespace2 and Freelancer.. great old games indeed

its a shame we haven't seen anything decent since, x-series I tried last year and tbh I dunno how many releases they've done but they just don't seem get it. And Eve Online I wouldn't ever touch (absolute grind), a waste of time a bit like WoW.. only they did it right and the addons made it all worthwhile.

I'd take mass effect and mash it up with freelancer for something awesome.

  • You expect this to happen in China, not the UK...

"Force disciplines police blogger"....should be ..."Force disciplines police blogger for having an opinion!"

lol yeah good one BBC (british broadcasting crap)... I like the anonymous news article.

"seemingly, no more reason other than that he critiscised the government" well UK government is failure anyway, so its no surprise some people are speaking out from within its various departments.. just not enough!  The last thing they want is insiders to screw things up by being honest with the public on various issues.. oh noes don't wake them up

  • What UAC Controversy?

    Charles said:

Are you guys still talking about UAC? Man... If that's Windows 7's biggest problem, well, do go buy lots of MSFT shares, eh?

By the way, I just wrote an app that will execute with full rights regardless of the user rights context you're running under. So,it by-passes UAC altogether.... All you have to do is get it on your system in the first place and I'll take it from there. The solution is really quite simple: Don't run my exe on your computer.

Hey, Jamie. Here's some storyline fodder for your next cartoon:

Luke Smith: Hey!!! UAC is not a security feature. It's a security hole!!!! OMG!! OMG!!!!!!

Darth: Could you be more.... specific?

Luke Smith: OMG!!! OMG!!!! It's over. It's ALL over! Windows 7 is not secure!!! You can run code on Windows 7!!!! OMG!!! OMG!!!

Darth: Yes. Of course, you can run code on Windows, young Jedi. Elaborate. What are you talking about? Quickly. I have much to do.

Luke Smith: OMG!!! OMG!!! UAC can be used by a rogue binary to self-elevate by injecting itself into the security context of a signed, trusted system binary that by-passes UAC checks. OMG!!! OMG!!!

Darth: Have I shown you my latest Death Ray?

    (cue Rush's 2112...)

    C

well I'd watch this cartoon Big Smile
