untitled.bmp in ie7 when trying to "save picture as"

so what is the solution that solves this stupid issue that doesn't happen in other browser engines?

Has this been fixed in ie8 yet or will this most retarded issue still be affecting ie8 users?

anyone know of upto site listing speed tests on these flash usb memory sticks?

looking for the fastest (read/write) 4-8gb sticks.. preferably ones that are out in the UK... its a bit backward over here on pricing and availability.

is there a default registry key that is used by windows to set the explorer window size? (i'm not talking about IE.. btw.. just to make it ultra clear)

soo sick of having some file explorer windows open up at some poxy little size..

And I know about the shift close method to save the window sizes.. that works fine on the folder you did it on.. but then when you launch a different folder that hasn't had its size set..its back to default tiny size again.. and sure its ok if you opened c:\ with its set size and then navigate to the folder you wanted to view..

but if you had some other application launch "c:\windows\rubbish" then it seems explorer opens it up some tiny window proportions

so registry key pls.... just want to set the default [width] x [height] for any future file explorer window ever opened ever again.

one last thing.. there is registry key that coudl be used to disable the "Folders" sideview from showing when you open the file explorer(like winkey+e )... does anyone know what that registry key is. I had a look many times but trying to come up with the right search terms to find it, just got mind numbingly stupid for an option that should be readily available for the user to choose.

Seriously "forgot password" form just isn't working for me, or your site isn't sending the email required. I'm sure its been like that for while since you change the layout :)

I don't mind really but I think the lack of commenting probably isn't too good for the site?

ok... what is up the lack of a plain/ordinary, every other forum seems to manage adding one.. button for blindly quoting a users post...like

doesn't seem to exist here? nor does it seem to work when you even go as far as typing it aswel. :s

and I know about the quote icon that takes everything somene has posted and puts that in a quote for your reply, thats err nice and useless at times, do I really need to explain why?

When will we ever get rid of the damn things.. they are everywhere, I never use them, unless i have no choice... trusty middle mouse buttons takes care of scrolling in most sensibly programmed applications these days..

it seems that scrollbars only hinder my screenspace, hiding just that little bit extra content in every window frame of every application using them.

Here is my suggestion.. why can't we have OSD/Overlay Bars!

that only appear when you are actually scrolling(MMB) a window frame, or the Mouse is in the location of where I scrollbar would normally be. And it should be enforced that MMB be avaible to use for scrolling a window frame in any application that is using scrollbars. I noticed explorer(xp) doesn't bother adding it yet..

anyway seriously about time they get removed/improved.. how many more years to wait for some progress.

is there a way to disable windows from copying rich text... I hate it when you copy a bit of text from somewhere.. and then try paste it in microsoft word or any other similar app etc.. it and always tries to get the font/size/color and all that rubbish.

....so anything like a registry key or a quick fix that can applied that doens't let the windows copy function store the "RTF" nonsense anymore?

been a while since I 've seen this addon actually working in Outlook, it no longer keeps my hotmail accounts upto date.. does really bother me much as Gmail at least provides proper POP access, but still silly if this has been disabled or no longer updated to work?....and checked the errors and I get this :

Why is it that all browsers have this huge white space for a blank page... its like no one has yet decided to give the users an option on it yet.. you know when you click link wham huge white screen area in your face while its loading the page..or more likely you open a link in a new tab.. you could be on a fairly dark site layout open a new link and it would make sense in my opinion if the screen didn't suddenly goto white...why can't I have it as black? huh hmmm

getting sick of it especially with a big lcd screen, wish some browser would sort it out and give an option on it.

What happened to it? I had WMP 11 installed for ages but haven't bothered with it as I use Winamp.. anyway was testing it out again.. like its only decent feature is the playback speed.. but its missing this:

Colour Chooser> "Use black as Player background color"

what is going on? I just downloaded WMP 11 again from the site.. just incase i was using a beta version, but its the same thing..

Does anyone know of a script or a small utilility that can quicky toggle windows primary and secondary displays around? Its just one of those things that have come to be annoying when running multidisplays, with my main display being a LCD, and my seconday being a CRT. Anytime I want to do a bit of gaming, i'm always going into the display properties to make the CRT monitor the primary display so that the game launches on that display.. and then changing it back afterwards. I know a few games sometimes offer a option dialog that let you choose the default display adapter, before launching the game, but those are rare.

Probably not the right forum for this post.. but I figured some techy people come here so someone might be able to help or know of someone who has made something that could make this process quicker than opening the display properties everytime :)
