I'm not sure how you can claim that it's secure when you do the "Connect to network"/push the button routine. A determined intruder could wait for that button pushing event. Even worse, I'm concerned as to what possible security between the new laptop and the router exists while that little dance is going on. It looks like it could be easily sniffable, recordable and attackable. I would have appreciated more technical details and less marketing and branding fluff.

Excellent video! I'm always excited to hear about the underlying media technologies in Windows and the scenarios they enable.

I did have a problem though and was wondering if you had any ideas on how to solve it.

I'm currently using Win7 x64 with the 226 Realtek drivers, and I am unable to get the FrontMic to record any sounds. I've tried adjusting every slider and tweaking every checkbox and radio button, but cannot get it to recognize my voice or record any sounds at all. Pumping up the gain just gets me a loud buzzing sound. I've been trying to get help on this from other sites, but no one else appears to have a solution, so I decided to ask the main sound man. I would appreciate any tips.

Near the end, Robert asks if there is any special hardware needed for the machine, and the answer is no. Then there's the caveat that the whole system has to be Vista logo'd. Would that be a contradiction?

Every time I see one of these cool robotics videos, I can't help but feel sad that all the really really interesting robotics research and advancement are being made overseas. You don't see such crude robotics technology over there anymore, but highly sophisticated ambulatory robots that can mimic many human activities. I really hope America can catch up.

Can I assume we will get to see the rest of the presentation here or is this just someone's way of cruelty by way of leaving us wanting more?
