Silverlight and HPC Enable On-Demand Engineering Design
Oct 06, 2009 at 7:18 AMThis particular PoC was about adding a rich front-end to the dezineforce.com application. There's a lot more to it than just "a Silverlight app that runs against HPC cluster" but the video was intended to focus on this one aspect. You can read more about the overall dezineforce offering at http://www.dezinforce.com.

You have the option to access a lower bitrate / alternative format from the dropdown below the video. To see a great demo os Smooth Streaming, try http://www.iis.net/media/experiencesmoothstreaming

Jul 10, 2009 at 12:24 AMSound is working fine now. There were problems with the embedded Silverlight player yesterday (I noticed it on other videos across C9). This is a high-bandwidth stream intended for watching full-screen. If you find it's doing a lot of buffering I'd suggest you grab the download high-bandwidth version via the "Formats" link.
