@RoyalSchrubber: i wasn't able to reproduce the bug you mentioned. i'm running IE8 RC1 on WinXP SP3.

one can see a lot of work going into IE8.
btw, how would you guys respond to crashie.com?

Its possible that when the dataset got repopulated, the current record was reset to the first record.
