I had put the code for displaying latest video from channel10 on my blog sidebar. But since today it is giving error and displaying :

"We Couldn't Find That
We're sorry but we couldn't find what you asked for. ........"

Is this option removed from Channel10?
If so, can it can be confirmed so that I will remove the code from my blog.

Or its just temporary?

Goog has introduced searching some of the Youtube content to be searched with text. That is to say :
"...........With the help of our speech recognition technologies, videos from YouTube's Politicians channels are automatically transcribed from speech to text and indexed. Using the gadget you can search not only the titles and descriptions of the videos, but also their spoken content. Additionally, since speech recognition tells us exactly when words are spoken in the video, you can jump right to the most relevant parts of the videos you find. ..........."

I think its a very nice feature, it should also be introduced in Soapbox, if its not there.

So what BAN_VISTA naming convention is? I think it may be Banner but why choose such names as BAN_VISTA....

When we use the 'Embed Code' using the Share Button on Channel 9 videos for putting it into our site or blog, please also put the the URL of the post also along with the Video. Like what we get when we share a Channel 10 video.
At present no URL gets posted along with channel9 video.

Yahoo today announced that discussions with Microsoft regarding a potential transaction -- whether for an acquisition of all of Yahoo! or a partial acquisition -- have concluded.
"With respect to an acquisition of Yahoo!'s search business alone that Microsoft had proposed, Yahoo!'s Board of Directors has determined, after careful evaluation, that such a transaction would not be consistent with the company's view of the converging search and display marketplaces, would leave the company without an independent search business that it views as critical to its strategic future and would not be in the best interests of Yahoo! stockholders."

Yahoo announced today that it has reached an agreement with Google Inc. that will enhance its ability to compete in the converging search and display marketplace, advancing the company's open strategy. The agreement enables Yahoo! to run ads supplied by Google alongside Yahoo!'s search results and on some of its web properties in the United States and Canada. The agreement is non-exclusive, giving Yahoo! the ability to display paid search results from Google, other third parties, and Yahoo!'s own Panama marketplace.

Silverlight2 Apps working in Opera ? [Silverlight2 Apps working in Opera ?]

I was just reading this Post, Social Bookmarking Ticker and trying out the SL app “Ticker”, built using Silverlight 2 beta to consume the feeds of social bookmarks created by the community.
And suddenly it struck me, I was using Opera and it was working.
So does Opera will be supported ? Will SL Beta2 will fully support Opera ?

But again the videos as in Channel9 based on SL video player were not working in Opera.

But that 'Ticker' app was the first thing I saw working in Opera.
