Am I the only one who thinks it's faulty logic to show a pie chart summarizing the expenditure of a cloud-based provider, say that the investment in people maintaining the cloud (sysadmins and so forth) is so small that it's not even in the chart, that 87% of it is power and power-related, and from that conclude that developer productivity will matter less in the coming decade?

Wouldn't you have to include the cost of all the software developers in all the companies making the actual software that runs on the cloud to make that argument?
