  In case you didn't know, Laura was kind of a big deal on G4 back in the day.  I think Laura is only in Seattle for the weather.

  Do you mean the video quality?  You do realize that in order to see a laser you have to fill the room with smoke/fog, right?

  Actually, some less-techy friends of mine are starting to say things like, "yeah, I think I'm going to check out the Windows Phone when my contract is up".  They currently have earlier versions of iPhones.  It's pretty impressive.

  What is it, exactly, that you're controlling through that Connected Media app?

  I use my phone to control my Windows 7 PC's Windows Media Player.  Just open up Windows Media Player and enable "Allow remote control of my Player"... and then open up the Connected Media app while you're on the same network and voila.
