Just finished watching, another great video.
Anyone know what the green and white book on Anders desk was?

You can download the files directly by clicking on the Download links next to the player. I'm not sure what you mean by enabling download/resume? It could be that you are talking about progressive streaming versus smooth streaming (which is the default)? Can you be more specific in terms of what you want us to do?
I think I know what he means, I was downloading a bunch of HQ-WMV videos the other day from C9 to watch offline and I had to stop the download midway through, When I went to restart the downloads they all failed, had to be restart from the beginning rather than resuming from ~80%
Anyway really looking forward to watching this video, top work Charles and the team!
I love what your saying about working on the overall architure for devices.
In my house I have xbox, phone7, win7, DNLA enabled TV's etc and they all talk to each other, but it not seemless, it's painful, the TV plays some video formats while the xbox plays another set etc.
Would be so nice to get to a point where you don't have to think, this video is in WMV so I'll watch that on the XBox, but this one is MKV, so I need to use the TV to stream that etc.
Thank you for this, I've been looking for this level of detail for a while.
@Patrick Julien: WebGL is not part of the HTML5 standard, this should work across all HTML5 browser, WebGL will not.
By implementing browser specific extensions, even if they are based of a standard, how is WebGL any better than using plugins like flash and Silverlight?
Was wondering why a general startup task rather than a 'role first run' task and and 'start up' task.
@Clint:I was meaning the hardware interconnects. Release the interconnect standard (what pins, SPI, I2C, PWM IO etc) are on which connector type under something like the new OSHW definition. This would be really cool if you could get others building addons.
The real advantage to me of this over the Arduino connector layout is how easy it is to attach say three cameras to the same board. It really makes it easy to slap some hardware together to try something out.
