  Great stuff but wish the video was more concise.

   

  IMO, too much idle chat happening between announcements.

   

  Would like to get a summary of the key announcements upfront in the first 5 minutes and then do the drill down with idle chat.

  Laura's Hohm score of 67 has me beat by a long shot.

   

  My Hohm score is 85.

   

  My home is a 1200 square foot condo in Manhattan, NYC.

  According to Hohm, the average NY score is 82.

  You should consider starting a media center software and/or hardware business.

   

  If all goes well, you may have fun and become very wealthy which should give you more free time.

  Looks like a good Apple TV alternative.

   

  I'd like to use the Ceton Tuner card on a new low profile HP or Dell PC.

   

  I'm thinking about this Dell Inspiron 580s system but concerned about PC fan noise in the living room.

   

  Any recommendations for a quiet low profile living room PC is appreciated.

  Suggestion: Orange County Chopper Type Show using a Mobile Dev Shop instead of Chopper Builders.

   

  It's not a good fit for the Ping show but I'd like to see Channel 9 do an Orange County Chopper style show using an independent software dev shop or Microsoft team complete with angry supervisor (Ted Teufel Sr.), creative designer (Ted Jr) with other work horse employees.

   

  Sometimes building creative Mobile Phone apps requires a quirky mix of personalities like the OCC folks to inspire and make cool products.

  I see this demo was done using the older Dell Latitude XT.
  
  In any case, I'd be curious to know when Microsoft expects multitouch and ink to become mainstream features.

  Apple's tech is cool but may be considered 'old school' when compared to this approach.
  
  They're attempting to show the benefits of using IR over the traditional capacitive touch panels.
   
  As noted in the video, using a smartphone, TV remote or any IR pointer to control the UI is very cool.
  
  A likely product from this is a "low-cost" Multi-touch TV Remote.
