Can someone from the Windows 7 Multi-Touch project shed some light on the 64-bit N-trig drivers?

I'm looking to buy either the Dell Latitude XT2 or HP Touchsmart tx2z Tablet.

Which one is best to run 64-bit Windows 7?

Is anyone running the Mac Book Pro with only Vista?

I'd like to buy the Mac Book Pro but I don't want the dual boot.
Is there a way to wipe out OS X and then do a clean Vista install?

The Apple Store sales people say that it must be a dual boot but I assume there's a hack around somewhere.

Does anyone have any news on when Dell will launch their Pen with Touchscreen Tablet PC?

I'm looking to buy a high end Tablet PC for SW Dev purposes.

I was thinking about this HP Tablet PC but I prefer to wait for this Dell Tablet PC.

It looks like the Dell system will have a touchscreen.

IMO, a touchscreen tablet is long overdue.

I hope Apple's hand gesture iPhone patents do not affect the Tablet.

I'm looking for a good calendar mashup that I can integrate into a thin client app.

I see 4 good options:
- Google Calendar
- Yahoo Calendar
- MSN Calendar
- 30 Boxes

I'm expecting Microsoft to announce a cool WPF'd Live Calender solution at Mix07.

In the mean time, it looks like Google is the best option.

Do you have a favorite calendar mashup solution?

It's hard to believe that Microsoft will not have a solid Zunecast solution ready by launch time on Nov. 14th.

It looks like Microsoft is set to pay the $2.5 million per day penalty.

It won't be a financial burden since the company earns $40 million in profit per day.

The public perception is another matter.

BILL GATES: Well, I'm the right person to ask because I'm a SPOT believer. For those of you who don't know, this is the wristwatch project that Microsoft did where we use FM signals to actually broadcast data, and so if you have this watch you get stock updates and weather and news and things. And you just go to the Internet and pick what you care about, what sports or what traffic things, and then your watch gets a message that tells it what things to display for you.

We got off to a slow start on SPOT because our watches were a little too thick and we didn't have the right distribution channel, and so now there's a new generation of the SPOT watches coming, actually some color display and things. So we're pushing ahead with that, but it did not get to the mainstream in the first version, so we had to step back and do some of the more ergonomic design.

It's a perfect example of a sort of subscription, because as you go to the Internet and pick what you care about, that's like an RSS subscription, and the idea is that if we can get that to large numbers, then even corporate data feeds, you could go up and sign up to those and have those come down on your watch as well, but we need to get more of a phenomena around that, and so we're taking another shot at that.
