I tried to download the SP 1 from here http://www.microsoft.com/express/download/, when that .exe file runs its tells "it is not compatible with Express edition".... so i uninstalled vb2k8 also.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;I tried to re-run the test, now both items are passed. and SQL2k8 installed successfully.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Now, I can't install back vb2k8, it is asking for SP 1 version. But service pack says its not compatible... made some quick google search and got &lt;a href="http://www.teradata.com/express"&gt;this&lt;/a&gt; and &lt;a href="http://www.teradata.com/t/page/168665/index.html"&gt;customer's&lt;/a&gt; list depending on it. Nice.&amp;nbsp; Even this tool has JDBC, ODBC and .NET data providers (&lt;a href="http://www.teradata.com/t/page/180454/index.html"&gt;here&lt;/a&gt;, no. 5)&lt;br /&gt;
