Normally, these sessions only show "what's possible" and not "what's best" but Hadi really shows some real world 'challenges' and how to solve them.

It's a pity that the focus is more on the lack of support in Firefox/Chrome than the support in IE10....

Unfortunately there are a lot of essential features (HTML 5, CSS 3) unsupported in IE and supported in 'other browsers'. (and vice versa btw)

Excellent video again. It's very nice to watch every time. Thanks Laura and 'shy' Paul!

I'm very curious whether the 'application launch time restriction' is going to work; but when it does it is an excellent improvement to the Windows Mobile/Windows Phone image. Unfortunately I have to wait for a while (Netherlands) before Windows Phone will be available including marketplace etc etc, but I'm very curious!

SecondLife... man look how it turned out So many companies spend a lot of money in it; maybe it was too early for a virtual world like this. But it will probably not something for me to spend my time on. There are simply way to much cool things to play with.

So many things, so few time... argh!

oh and btw; I see that you've got a lot of 9-guys there; is there any way I can get one?

Nice feature, but less distracting doesn't mean 'more helpfull'. When you download a file, you don't want to see a 'less distracting' window, you want the 'save as' dialog.

So in that case it's not really helping when it silently shows up at the bottom. The location however, is probably the best location. It's not at the top and blocking content, so I suppose that the bottom is the best location, but perhaps its 'best location' is dependent of the contents.

Another thing is that every feature is compared to google chrome. That's ok, but please do not try to promote your product by saying that other products are bad. Just show the good things ofyour product.

Good to hear. I'm already using Wordpress and it's simply the best blogging platform. Unfortunately it's written in PHP (nofi, but I would like to see it in .NET), but nevertheless it works awesome.

Nice video again.

Unfortunately I don't see the (all) new features as an improvements.

Ok, not having to use the line-continuation character is nice as well as the auto properties, but things like (multiline) lambas just make the code more difficult to read.
The same with 'anonymous types'...
Maybe it is because I haven't seen a good example where the features mentioned above are usefull.

But ofcourse it's up to the programmer to use it or not.

When I heard of the 'new editor' in WPF I was a little bit shocked. because after all, it is a code editor. So there's no need for fancy things like gradients and pictures. But this video made it a lot clearer. Though it is a CTP, I hope that the editor will be as good as the plain old RichTextBox. (For example tooltips look horrible now as well as some flickering when selecting text)

But the extensibility of it is great. Especially the usage of MEF. I'm playing arround with MEF a little bit and it looks very very promising. I like the other features, like the navigation, as well!
