Coffeehouse - Firefox to overtake IE by December

ROFL - Roll Over With Fits of Laughter on graph joke [C]

IE7 tabs aren't quite as nice as the MSN Toolbar add in for XP, but it seems more stable under XP. IE7 under Vista is marginally less stable, but has the sandbox come code firewall embedded - Protected Mode

I think in a few months it will have the edge with a couple of cosmetic changes - maybe skins and a search highlighting etc.

Coffeehouse - How is MySpace making its money?

Ads mostly

I just signed up for Hotmail Plus 14.94 UK sterling and took out the ads - it's a tickbox under settings - let's you remove ads. Better than paying for MSN Premium.. who needs Encarta and a custom browser?

When Windows Live goes mainstream, gadgets and increased space will be costed no doubt and presumably integrated with Vista desktop gadgets..

Coffeehouse - Vista: Why can't I share a custom folder with everyone?

Dude,

I had the same problem the other day. Go in to the security applet, firewall settings and loosen up the File & Print Sharing option, also loosen up ICMP inbound aka PING, then PING 19.. etc and do a
\\192..\share etc to get the login prompt

Secure by design..
