mycroft: the video was held for a few reasons. 1) I was overloaded and just let it sit around too long. 2) DRM is controversial so this is one of the few videos I asked the PR team to look at before it was published, that slowed it down. 3) It was about Vista, so it get sent to their marketing team, who had to consider it too. 4) I quit my job in that time, so wasn't pushing videos through as hard.

In all of this, it was 89% my incompetence. Sorry about that. It's still a good video, though, and I'm glad it got out.

Marc, the interview with you was one of my favorites! Hey, why can't we do another? Just won't be on Channel 9.

Man, you guys all act like you've gotten rid of me or I've died or something. Heheh.

Anyway, that question came out of my laziness: I never marked the tapes for who was on them.

So, I'd start each tape out with that question so that if someone found those tapes in 100 years they'd know exactly who was on them and what they did.

I hope Charles keeps doing that, for just that reason, by the way.

I discovered later that that is a good way to start a conversation on video since the viewer has no idea who they are seeing and why they are or aren't important to be listening to.

I couldn't figure out how to get into my Scobleizer account now that my Microsoft email address is dead and I forgot my password. I guess I could ask Charles, but figured I'd just change to a new identity.

I was sad.

It is an awesome job. Probably the best one I'll ever have.
