I am unable to pass values through as parameters though - since this AddHandler wants a subroutine with no parenthesis, how do I pass values through during the call?

I'm building a large table that looks similar to:

edit / del || ProductTitle || $0.00
edit / del || ProductTitle || $0.00
edit / del || ProductTitle || $0.00

Where 'edit' and 'del' are LinkButtons that need to post back to the page, call a WebService, and report exactly which product to edit, or delete.

Couple of things:
1) The Click event handler has to be with the right signature (gets Object sender, EvenetArgs e)
2) You don't pass parameters in the event binding. Your event handler should get them in it's method body (Sorry it's in C#, my VB is rusty):

private void button_click(object sender,
EventArgs e)
{
// Get the right parameters from somewhere...
 int orderId = ...;
 int productId = ...;
 DeleteProduct(orderId , productId);
}

3) Why don't you use the GridView capabilities ? It has an edit / delete/ update column etc. Why not use it ?

Hope this helps you.

Coffeehouse - Microsoft to Launch answer to Adobe Flash Player Tonight!

Hey, Emet - You said (and I quote):
"There are a wide assortment of tools and SDKs written by your company to aid in dynamically generating "WPF/E" using ASP.NET. Please go on the Silverlight website for a nice list of such software."

So here is the link to site's tools and resource:
http://www.microsoft.com/silverlight/tools.aspx

What you're thinking about is probably the Expression Suite.
ASP.net a a web application framework, not a development environment (and here's a wikipedia page about ASP.net:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Asp.net).

AFAIK, there is no way to "dynamically generate "WPF/E" using ASP.NET". Yes, you have tools that help you to generate XAML, but that has nothing to do with ASP.net.

Tech Off - For you smarter guys out there: Want a challenge?

If the function signature is always the same, you can do it with a delegate (a wrapper for a function) or an event (a wrapper for a delegate).

for example:

// Delegate
public delegate void MyFunctionDelegate(int a, double b);
// Event
public event MyFunctionDelegate MyEvent;

(Hopefully I haven't made a mistake...)

You can read more about them in MSDN, it's really not a very difficult subject
