Well, as long as you asked
1. 2003/AD
2. Exchange
3. SMS
Also very interested in Manip's question about your "cell" design and security implementation. You are without doubt the most attacked network on the planet. And in addition one of the most diverse. I would be interested in how security approaches these issues and the technology involved.
EDIT: I think this is a self-healing forum
Agree with above plus would be cool to see any of the server stuff with longhorn. yes I know it is a long way out (2007 at least) but there have got to be some ideas prototypes of something flying around redmond. -
I will agree with the kernel that the options he points out above work EXCELLENT. Something to consider for certain workstations. But in some cases it probably would not be an option.

I have tried stardock, windows blinds and a few others and i just like the original look and feel of windows. Call me old fashioned.

It will be interesting to see what happens with this. Maybe this will open the doors down the road to do something like this again.
BenefitsAccess to Microsoft source code through the ESLP benefits enterprise customers by:
- Providing insight and a deeper understanding of Windows.
- Facilitating security and privacy audits and maintenance of customer's computing environment.
- Enhancing performance tuning, thereby allowing customers to adjust and optimize their own systems and related applications.
- Enhancing the pre-deployment engineering process for enterprise environments.
- Improving internal support and troubleshooting capabilities of deployed Windows systems.
- Improving the feedback mechanisms that ultimately contribute to the development of better Microsoft customer solutions and tools for the future.

I am happy with it. The non-power user should be much more protected now which should in turn protect us. I think anyway that sp2 was built and designed out of the ashes of stupidity from all the people who do not know how to even click a hyperlink properly.
I mean it would take one of us coomputer geeks 5.245 seconds to realize something is up with our pc (Trojan, worm, virus, spyware...) but the average mom and pop user would never have a clue cause they do not even know what to look for.
SP2 should considerably cut down by preventing the "bad stuff" from getting in. -
Jeremy just ignore him.
SP3:
I would like to see a more intuative way to setup different connection setups based on location.
Scenario: I am at work and need a static IP. Then I go home with laptop and run dhcp there. Wouldnt it be nice to have a nice clean easy interface where I can store location profiles for IP setup? Like "Home", Work", "McDonalds"... I could just selct my location and my ip would change. Simple.
I know the MAC has had that setup for a while now.
I am sure I have more lemmie think... -
