Great because I am booking a Renegade Dinosaur skin hunt this spring. Need another 9 or 10 brave people who aren't afraid to get arrested pilfering my Dino Skin site. I won't be doing any digging just videoing the crime. We'll sell the video and all get shares. How's that for a fun offer.
Edited just now:
P.S. I'd be here pretending to be a developer just like the rest of you.

I have gathered that video is his new area of focus, the last countanance with said "swampy" involved an allegedly superior desktop search system, that couldn't fail.
Has that been shelved now?
I have used this simple method as random forum question generator before. A huge list of Bugs is intimidating. Random ones popping up are a much more interesting read. It's not about Swamp Search its about using random. It's ready to go just give me a nice list.
My first real random app was a christmas lotto in 1973. We sold 117 tickets. Some people bought a few some only 1. We had a texas miki as first prize. We drew every ticket. with prizes of 12 bottles of beer 4 bottles of wine a 26 oz of wiskey and the big one. With each ticket we had a winning and losing comment on the ticket owner. During the final 10 or so we would show who still remained. The whole office was there. I still have the computer listing somewhere. It took us days to get all the insider pokes at our fellow workers. both winning and losing. What fun that random poke fun at your co-worker lotto was. Probably illegal now. We drank the beer and wine right away. The big boss was away. Probably sent on a goose chase.
You'll love random.

A random delayed print with large font bug displaying beauty. Fresh video everyday. Give me a list of 100 in the above format and I'm ready to start videoing these random problems. 3 or 4 per day videoed changing the video out every day. Old video just stinks. Once the list is Huge there will be no boredom. Boredom begone.
Sven Groot said:ScanIAm said:*snip*Agreed. C9's reliability problems are the fault of either the servers or the site's own code, not of .Net.
That's 4 so far

Kryptos said:Bas said:*snip*Yeah... my feelings exactly. I feel like c9 has lost what I found so amazing in the first place. All of the interviews with the dev's seem planned, it never felt that way when it first started.
I'm not sure but did it start to go down hill when scoble left?
I'm more conerned about good content then a flashy website.....
Sorry Jeff and c9 team.... your going to have to win us over
I would like to help out here. Only for a bit.
You list 10 bugs that you want me to randomly select and play (large font delayed text). Add 10 per week and I'll video 3 or 4 of those each day and post those videos for 1 day. The one I'll post is "what the h*** is with the dropping view counts?" I have a witness...
This is extremely easy to do with SSDS and I would have the first video ready to play later today.
Of course I'd pass it on to someone there ASAP Because I don't give a damn about your dumb old bugs.
blowdart said:SpectateSwamp said:*snip*So you should be banned is what you're saying as you're threatening to stalk people and subjects? Fair enough. Bye!
Nope. Maybe a cage match at the next CES. Just to get all the frustrations out.
Nice bump BlowDartSwamp Thanks but lets stick with MetaData discussions here.
Dr Herbie said:kettch said:*snip*Corrective post to allow me to navigate to the end of this hilarious thread.
Nothing to see here, move along.
Herbie
Brave brave Sir Dr Herbie and Sir DCMonkey what are you doing bumping this thread.
What is this talk about "end of this hilarious thread" any body bumps this sucker I'll be here to bump right back. There is no way that I'll let someone tell me, not to be a SpeedBumpSwampie. Not anymore after that skinny * littleguru pulled his disappearing act. AND don't come back LG. Those changing view counts were amazing too. I was showing off the posts (to a friend) and how I tracked that no one was viewing and were SCARED off. When the count went from 1306 down to 1301 in a couple minutes. This could be another one for the bug file? And the day before that. I showed how there was no activity for 2 or 3 hours and right after my post there was a flurry of activity by Channel9's SBS's to some of the dumbest posts I've ever seen. And LG tells me to quit bumping this thread. Booo LittleGuru and your minions. Whatever minions are they don't sound too dangerous...
So be WARNED anybody that talks "MetaData" or "Desktop Search" or "Digital Video" or "Having fun" or .... here Will get bumped forever more by SpectateBumperSwamp.
Who is LittleGuru anyway. Who's bidding is he doing?? Charles!
Has he used these "quit bumping" tactics with others? It that fair. He acts like a mod with his thousands of posts and incredible knowledge... See who is at the end of some of my Fav threads. You guessed it LittleGuru. Talk about games. We have seen the view counts drop. And the SpeedBumpSwamps who are waiting to post as soon as I bumped them back. There are a lot of these SBS people out there. Just do screen captures you'll catch them. If that isn't fabricated as well. Phony is what it is. Very phoney
I decided this one post should cover the rest of the respondants. I didn't want to ignore them on such an important topic as MetaData
