OK so we are back here again... lax moderation fr a while followed by a crackdown. Charles et al I appreciate that you have better things to do but can we have consistent, reasonable, moderation? Can we have people who are banned but come back with another nme and carry on banned? I fully expect this to be locked or marked as spam. Whatever. Im done.

OK so i've been bashing my head on this one all day and its doing my nut in...

I need to compile a predicate(of t) at runtime, then use it.

I can compile the code at runtime easily enough, the problem I have is then extracting the delegate.

If I use a non-generic delegate, it works. If I try to use a predicate(of t) it doesnt, complaining that it can not load the assembly - however the assembly it complains it can not load is not the runtime compiled one, its the assembly i am trying to use to call it with.

Anyone have a cluse if this is possible?

Right so I guess we've all heard now, silverlight for win mo and symbian. Great. Lovely. I can dig that. But can we just, for a second, take a step back here. Are you going to replace PIE. Please, please say yes. Everytime I use PIE a kitten dies, largely because I find one and strangle it to try and abate the frustration. Replace PIE and make it right because I swear that as it stands, if the next generation of IPhone has gps and 3g plus im switching. (This post not brought to you by PIE BECAUSE IT STILL DOESNT WORK WITH C9 AFTER ALL THIS TIME)

Yes - before we start I understand that these were never really Tablet PCs - more a WiFi PDA optimised for browsing. This didnt seem that attractive when you could buy a low powered laptop for the same price.

In fact - I would hazard a guess that they didnt sell that many of them - because they seem to be selling them off at a massive discount now.

Now to me 75 quid for a little internet tablet seems pretty good. If only I could justify why I would need one around the house...

There is a fairly well known issue with the vB compiler that was hotfixed some time ago, detailed here.

I had this issue but applied the hotfix and all was well. Now, I have seems that I am not the only person this has happened to allthough that looks like the brta that failed. Still going to try it though.

Argh.
