This doesn't happen often to me in Opera (or really any browser I use); however, I've had it happen in the Add/Remove Programs panel with programs getting the wrong icon. One time, I noticed that one of the programs had the ATI logo next to it, even though the program was the software for my nForce3 motherboard and there is no ATI hardware in my computer. Try explaining that one.

Dell laptops can have their video cards on a separate module, which is meant to make repairing and replacing them easier for their service center.

Reader 8.1 has been fine for me so far. Reader 8.0 used to crash on close whenever I used TexnicCenter to open a PDF, but 8.1 fixed that. Apparently there was a bug in 8.0's DDE system and it seems to have been fixed in 8.1.

I've been wondering the same thing. I hope it is at least much less than buying a retail upgrade to Ultimate (260USD or so).

I live in Detroit, too! It was really cold last week, but this week has been very warm. I hope there's more snow this year than last year, though, as my college is on a large hill that is very good for sledding.

Looking at the picture walkthrough, the only difference I can see is the choice of wallpapers.
