The gold C9 guy in Jamie's ads looks great! The C9 team should use that if they redesign the site again. (I'm not sure if the 3D look would fit the current design) It'd also look great on a shirt. (hint hint) ![]()

That's a great find! I always thought it'd be cool to have a .NET shirt.
Can anyone order from that site? -
That sounds really cool! After seeing managed Quake 2 I wonder if developers will start writing more managed code in commercial games. I realize that they won't jump ship and write all their code in C#/VB.NET, but I could see more and more utilies, editors, etc. for the games being written in managed code.

I don't really see the point. You pay the same price no matter where you buy them from.

Glad I'm not the only one who shares that view on Steven J. Vaughn-Nichols.

When I used MySQL, I called it My Ess-Que-Ell. When I starting using MS databases I switched to Sequel. When it's not database specific, for example the phrase "a SQL query", I'll say "a sequel query" but I still call the products by their respective names (Sequel Server vs. My Ess-Que-Ell).
As far as the other terms. I pronounce GUID as Gee-You-Eye-Dee. ASP.NET is A-S-P Dot Net. I picked up ASMX as Azummex from an interview with Don Box which is a bit easier to say fast.
