Anyways, does anyone know when the stores will be opened? It will be interesting to see if they will be competition for the Apple Retail stores. Hopefully, they will trump the Apple stores in customer satisfaction since going into an Apple store is like going to the DMV.

I'm looking for a formula to do this...

Say I have 5 cells. If at least 3 of those cells have '100' in them, another cell should display a set value such as "WooHoo" or whatever. Here's the catch: if 4 of the cells have at least '100' something else should be shown.

Is there a formula to do something like this?

Two more "WTF" moments of Windows Mobile I have found this morning.

-Camera records video in mp4 format which Vista can't play out of the box.
-Windows Contacts, Windows Calendar, and Windows Mail doesn't sync with the phone.

I'm going to cut to the chase:

When is it coming and why is IE Mobile still going to be only for new phones?

The site is pretty browsable in Skyfire. Opera Mobile cannot handle the intense ajax that runs when clicking on "Next Page".

This is in the System.Windows.Forms assembly. Does this not exist in the .NET CF?

I'm trying to draw my own ListBox items so I can add more than one line of text and add images etc.

Instead of offering an upgrade for IE 6 for Windows Mobile, you want consumers to purchase a better, new phone that can 'handle' IE 6.

Thank god for Safari (OS X) and Mobile Opera (Win Mo).

Welp, I'm finally breaking down and perhaps purchasing a PMP. I have been looking at the 80gb iPod classic and the 80gb Zune 2.

Since this is a MS discussion board, I figure that most of you all have Zunes. Any cons/dislikes with the Zune 2?

I'm probably going to go to a retail store tomorrow and check them out and see if I like them.

Oh ya, I'm installing the Zune Software right now to compare the Zune Marketplace with the iToons marketplace.

External HDD Not Mounting [External HDD Not Mounting]

I have an IDE external hard drive wired through USB and formatted as NTFS. When I plug it into windows, it registers it as a USB Device but won't mount! I took it over to a friends house and we tried it on OS X and Suse Linux and it worked fine.

What gives?

I just read a blog post that I found on Digg about software piracy. A commenter said that people will "sell" their computer then have the pirate install the software then "sell" it back to them to be legal. Is this really legal? If this is, this should be fixed immediately!

I can't recall the name of the blog but if I find it I will link it.

That Vista UX pdf and the mark miller link is perfect. I downloaded about 8 shows from dnrTV. That is an excellent website!

I'm just going to have to carry my laptop with me so I can read some of the UX pdf. 768 pages is a bit too much to print ;-)

Me and a couple of mates are working on a Windows Mobile application to get the same data that our website is pumping out. We were debating this today:

What is more secure; making a special web page and have our Windows Mobile application parse data off of the web page or just have our Windows Mobile application connect directly to the database?

What is you all's take on this?
