Coffeehouse - Paste-From-Console Live Writer PlugIn

I came across this nice plugin for Windows Live Writer,
Paste From Console by Mike Stall,

Using this plugin, you can paste text copied from console. This will paste with a fixed width console font, optionally compensate for console line wrapping, and optionally format the console prompt and input separate from the console output.

This can be very useful who often use output from Console for their Blog.

Coffeehouse - Listas - All your lists in one place

Listas is a tool for the creation, management and sharing of lists, notes, favorites, and more. It allows you to quickly and easily edit lists, share them with others for reading or wiki-style editing, and discover
the public lists of other users.

It's a way for you to create lists of anything you like and store them on a central place. You can invite others to participate in your lists, and you can publish them to the web or an RSS feed.

In the Listas Community Section, you will find a number of highlights of the most popular and random items from around the community of public lists such as the most used tags, the hottest lists, and prolific contributors. You can even add others’ lists
(or any RSS feed) to your own Listas so you are always up to date.

You could keep a real time grocery list online, invite family members to add to it, and subscribe to it on your phone. You could use it as a to-do list and feed it into your Sidebar using a PopFly RSS block.

(Source:

Coffeehouse - View< myWorld >New Microsoft website for job seekers

I am just quoting below what has been put on
One Louder Blog. Check out this nicely designed site View< myWorld > ,a new Microsoft website for job seekers, which will actually show you what's its like being techie at Microsoft. Here you can have all the Q&A , you wanted to know about
working at Microsoft. Lots of videos to check. Interesting way to put marketing stuff. So go on & Explore the World of Microsoft, may be in future designed in Silverlight.

"We recently launched a
new website to give a funky little peak behind the curtain at Microsoft. If you don't have a sense of humor, you'll hate it. Trust me. Don't click on the singing cowboy videos.

The site is primarily aimed at tech folk, but a lot of the content makes sense for the rest of us non-coder-types as well. These are real Microsoft employees (disclaimer: the cowboy is an actor. Just thought I would let you know in case you wondered
if we was on staff). I have long been, well, kind of complaining, that we don't do a good job of showing our real employees to the world. Past marketing has been full of clips of two-dimensional, perfect-looking people. I like the people on the
View myWorld site much more. Check out Jasmine who writes one of my favorite blogs
Pike/Pine. There are lots of videos too with people discussing a bunch of roundtable topics like careers at Microsoft and making an impact.

Yeah. so it's obviously marketing. But it 's real people telling about their actual experiences. In the staffing industry, recruiters lament the lack of any valuable career site content. Most corporate pages are transactional and boring. So although
I had nothing to do with this web page going up (though you may see a video I produced up there in the future), I'm pretty proud of this."

Coffeehouse - 7 Page Review of Windows Home Server

prndll wrote:

hhhhmmmmm........
Sounds more like a cheap way for MS to take control and watch (all by remote) of personal networks. I personally see nothing about this other than the cheap price that makes it worth having. Sorry guys. I can do the same things with almost any other computer
connected to my network already.

You can do , but everybody cant be a geek like you to do it, that too an average HOME user.
What you can do is, taken care by Windows Home Server helping a Home user to do.
I think, if its taken care of properly, in promoting WHS, it'll be a huge success in years to come.
