At the moment it's not possible to make drivers that are 100% managed .net code because .net doesn't allow to do the low-level stuff.
But if they were 100% .net based we wouldn't have any bsod's anymore caused by bugs in a driver.

As a developer you should take a look at the .NET Framework SDK. It has some nice tools (like a disassembler), lots of help documents (with all the namespaces) and examples.
The dll's in the .NET framework are not directly usable to you. -

Seriously, I would buy (I got infinite money from that miracle) a Dimension 1 Spas (chairman II) and install it in my garden. -
- We really need more people coming to this site, especially new members. To attract new members that want to actively participate channel 9 needs to be more interactive.
- A chatbox (only for members) is a good idea. If possible, a weekly chat with an employee from ms.
- More Chris Sells (dunno why, he always sounds happy)
- A new application project (not too big) and some dedicated programmers on it with the participation of the C9 community. Lot's of updates, releases and open code.
- Fast news directly from Microsoft (not press releases)
- More contests (express contest is already awesome)
