displaying several effects that are easily achieved using this API.
The different effects loaded in the level include:
Particle systems,
Billboard lights,
Water systems with 2 layer texture blending
Transparency,
Self emitting textures,
Rotation animators, Collision, and
Lightmapping
.
Now the best part of all this is that I'm not a programmer at all, but
due to the simpleness of the code and the powerful tools of MSVC (ok,
and some study I had to do) I achieved putting up this level in an
acceptable graphic level.
The level was compiled using DX9 so a Video accelerator is recommended.
WASD navigation, ALT+F4 to quit (sorry guys, my next lesson is adding
ESC to my apps!!!)
So now I got a powerfull set of tools to use and display stuff for my
career (Architecture)!!!!!
cheers!
ps. You'll require the Irrlicht source for the additional libraries
plus include them in your project and you'll also require the
additional files!!!

get the full thing here:
http://www.danielpatton.com/afecelis/contest/AFC.zip
please copy and paste into your browser; it's the project plus the media files (Irrlicht not included, only the dll)
